The Walsall FC Foundation has confirmed its yearly Saddlers Sleepout will take place again at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium in December. The occasion gathers important money for the Foundation and local good causes such as the Black Country Food Bank, Bloxwich Blakenall Foodbank, and Saint Peter's Catholic Church.
The Foundation stated: "The Walsall FC Foundation has announced the return of the Saddlers Sleepout at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium." Those taking part will endure the cold of a December night to back the effort. Availability is restricted and everyone attending must be a minimum of 16 years old, with anyone younger needing a parent or guardian to join in.
Two club staff members, Michael Gough and Craig Timmins, have already registered to take part. The sleepout occurs as the first team gets ready for its upcoming League Two match, a home fixture versus Port Vale this coming Saturday. Their recent results include one victory and four draws from the previous five matches, leaving them undefeated and close to the top of the standings. The Saddlers Sleepout is planned for a day in December, with more information to be provided by the Foundation.
